Terms and Conditions

Salt en pepper is a company specializing with the introduction of professional chefs & chief stewardess and stewardess, to our clients.

Our roll is that of a personal introduction “Agency”.

 

The Service

1. Salt en Pepper is a company specialising in the introduction of professional chefs and stewardess’ to prospective employers, reps and agents.

2. Our sole role is to introduce prospective crew to the client and client to crew.

3. We are not responsible for any contact or agreement made between the two parties.

4. We ask that all crew and client accept our Terms & Conditions before entering into any provision of our service.

5. Where possible, and as part of the service we provide, we try to interview all crew and clients, and try where possible to verify any references and/or qualifications. However, we strongly recommend that the client carries out these investigations before agreeing to any employment with the crew.

6. It is forbidden to use any of the crew details supplied to the client for any third party use – unless we have given written approval.

The Fees

1. Before we provide any services, we will be subject to the payment of a fee based on the following criteria:

Permanent placement:
     - Yachts up to 60m – 50% charge on placements,
     - Yachts 60m and over – 75% charge on placements,

Temporary placement:
     -
30 days and over – 50% charge on placements,
     - 15 – 30 days – 30% charge on placements,
     - 1 – 15 days – 20% charge on placements,

2. If within a one year period of client / crew introduction, the client employs or re-employs the crew, the client will be charged the applicable fee.

3. Within this time period, if the client and / or owner are not happy with the placement, we will be happy to replace the crew or refund the client the full placement fee (within 30 days)

4. We reserve the right to change the status of a placement from permanent to temporary.

5. (All fees will be subject to 16% vat)

6. Failure of payment on time there will be a charge 0.10% for every week that is late.

The Payment

1. All placement fees must be paid in full within 15 working days into the account detailed below.

2. Salt en Pepper will retain the charge of the placement fee for 30 days, incase of a placement discrepancy.

Liability

All liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, for any loss, damage, cost or expense, is hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
